Last updated: May 21, 2026
01
1. Why We Have These Guidelines
SpeakUp is a professional community that connects speakers, experts, organizers, podcasters, journalists, media and brands. These Community Guidelines explain how we expect everyone to behave so the Platform stays safe, respectful and useful. They form part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service, our Speaker and Organizer Rules and our User Content Rules. The Platform is operated by Shelp FZ-LLC (“SpeakUp”, “we”, “us”), Dubai Internet City, UAE. To report a problem, contact legal@speak-up.pro.
02
2. Be Professional and Respectful
Treat other users the way you would in a professional setting. Communicate honestly, courteously and in good faith. Disagreement is fine; abuse is not.
03
3. What Is Not Allowed
You must not post, send or share content or behave in ways that are:
- Harassing, bullying, threatening or intimidating toward any person.
- Hateful or discriminatory based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other protected characteristic.
- Sexually explicit, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate for a professional platform.
- Violent, or that promotes or incites violence, self-harm, terrorism or other serious harm.
- False, deceptive or misleading, including impersonation, fake profiles, fake reviews and misrepresentation of identity or qualifications.
- Spam, unsolicited marketing, scams, pyramid or referral schemes, or repetitive or irrelevant messaging.
- Infringing on intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights of others.
- Unlawful under the laws that apply to you or under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

4. Protect People and Their Data
Do not collect, scrape or misuse other users’ personal data, and do not use contact details obtained on the Platform for any purpose other than the professional interaction for which they were shared. Do not share another person’s private or confidential information without their permission.
05
5. Keep It Honest
Represent yourself, your services, your event and your achievements truthfully. Do not manipulate matching, search, rankings, reviews or metrics, and do not use multiple or fake accounts to gain an unfair advantage or to evade enforcement.
06
6. Stay On the Platform for Covered Interactions
You are free to take bookings and business off the Platform, but you must not try to move users off the Platform in order to deceive them, evade these Guidelines, or harm SpeakUp or other users. Attempts to defraud or circumvent safety measures are not allowed.
07
7. Reporting and Enforcement
If you see content or behaviour that breaks these Guidelines, report it to legal@speak-up.pro or through any in-app reporting tool. We review reports and may take action that is proportionate to the issue, including removing content, issuing a warning, limiting features, or suspending or terminating an account.
Except where immediate action is needed to prevent harm, fraud or illegality, we aim to give notice and a reason for significant actions, and you may appeal a decision by contacting legal@speak-up.pro. We will review appeals in good faith. Serious or repeated breaches, and any illegal activity, may be reported to the relevant authorities where required by law.
