Welcome to SpeakUp! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SpeakUp mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Shelp FZ-LLC, located in Dubai, UAE ("we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old or have legal parental or guardian consent to use SpeakUp. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Verification of company affiliation: The SpeakUp platform has the right to request confirmation from users of their affiliation with the company indicated in their profile and temporarily suspend or delete their account if such confirmation is not provided. Corporate email addresses, links to company websites, or other evidence-based methods may be required for confirmation.
You may upload content including your profile, biography, speaking topics, images, or other information. By submitting this content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote your content in connection with the Service.
You agree not to post or share any content that is:
User Content License: By posting any content (profile description, photos, materials, etc.) on SpeakUp, the user grants the platform a non-exclusive, perpetual, and worldwide license to use this content as part of the service. This license allows the platform to store, reproduce, publish and modify user materials solely for the purpose of providing the functions of the service and promoting it, without paying remuneration to the author.
Rules of conduct and content removal: In addition to the provisions already mentioned (false information, insults, spam, impersonation), it is prohibited to post illegal content, incite hatred, violate copyrights, disclose confidential information of others and any other actions infringing on the rights of third parties. The Platform has the right to remove or block any content that violates these rules or legal requirements without prior notice. It is also worth noting that repeated or gross violations of the rules can lead to the immediate blocking of the account without warning.
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at delete-account-data@speak-up.pro.
Data accuracy and user responsibility: The user undertakes to provide reliable and up-to-date information about himself in the profile and update it as necessary. All information published by the User should not mislead others. The Platform is not responsible for the accuracy and reliability of the data posted by users, and is not obligated to pre-moderate or verify all user content. The User acknowledges that he is solely responsible for the content published by him on SpeakUp, and bears all risks associated with the use of the posted information.

Representation only on their own behalf: The user undertakes to act solely in their own name and not create accounts for third parties. Registration or use of an account by another person is permitted only if there is proper legal authority documented (for example, power of attorney or contract). Creation of an account with intentionally incorrect data or for an unauthorized person without permission is a breach of the terms and conditions of use and may lead to account blocking.
All content and materials provided through the Service (excluding user content) are owned by SpeakUp or its licensors and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our written permission.
Using the profile for advertising purposes: By posting information about himself on SpeakUp, the User agrees that their public profile (including name, photo, position, biography, and other published information) can be used by the platform for marketing and advertising materials. This use can occur both within the service and outside it, for example on third-party sites and platforms, including Google Ads advertising services and social networks, in order to promote the service, speakers, attract event organizers, and increase the number of responses. At the same time, the platform has the right to use profile data, with or without a username, without requesting additional consent, and without paying any compensation to the user.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any behavior that we consider harmful, illegal, or a violation of these Terms.
Account blocking based on complaints: SpeakUp reserves the right to block a user’s account (temporarily or permanently) if it receives reasonable complaints from other users about their behavior. Such complaints include, but are not limited to, dissemination of false or misleading information, insults, spam emails, impersonations, or other violations of community rules. After reviewing and recognizing the complaint as justified, the platform may take the necessary measures, including deletion of the account, to address the violation.
We make no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the Service. Use of the Service is at your own risk. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of liability: The service is provided without any express or implied guarantees regarding its operation, availability or compliance with the user’s goals. The platform does not guarantee that every speaker will find an audience or that every event will receive a response. In addition, SpeakUp is not responsible for any indirect, accidental or unintended damages incurred by the user as a result of using the service. The platform is not a party to any contracts or agreements between the organizers and the speakers and is not responsible for the fulfillment of their mutual obligations outside the framework of the service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after such changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
Updating the terms and notices: The User Agreement and Privacy Policy may be changed from time to time by the platform administration, for example, in connection with updating functionality or legal requirements. The user is given the opportunity to review the new version; in case of disagreement with the changes, he has the right to stop using the service and delete his account. Continued use of SpeakUp after publication with the new terms means that the user agrees to the updated rules.
