1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how SpeakUp, operated by Shelp FZ-LLC (“SpeakUp”, “we”, “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at speak-up.pro and in our iOS and Android apps (together, the “Platform”). It should be read with our Privacy Policy. For questions, contact legal@speak-up.pro.
02
2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies, including software development kits (SDKs), pixels, local storage and device identifiers in our apps. In this Policy we refer to all of these as “cookies”. Cookies can be set by us (first-party) or by third parties whose services we use (third-party).
03
3. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies to run the Platform and keep it secure, to remember your preferences, to understand and improve how the Platform is used, and to measure and improve our advertising. The categories below explain each purpose and the tools involved.
04
4. Categories of Cookies We Use
We group the cookies we use into four categories:
| Category | What it does and examples | Needs consent? | Tools |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required to run the Platform: login, security, session, load balancing, saving your cookie choices. The Platform cannot work properly without these. | No (always on) | First-party |
| Functional | Remember your preferences, such as language and settings, to improve your experience. | Yes, where required | First-party |
| Analytics / performance | Help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it: pages and screens viewed, features used, crashes and performance. | Yes | Google Analytics, Firebase, PostHog |
| Advertising / targeting | Measure and improve our advertising and may build a profile of your interests across services and devices for ads. | Yes | Google Ads, Meta pixel, TikTok pixel |
Third-party tools. Google Analytics and Firebase are provided by Google; PostHog provides product analytics; the Meta pixel is provided by Meta and the TikTok pixel by TikTok. These providers may process data on their own servers, including outside your country, and some may act as independent controllers for their own purposes. Please review their own privacy and cookie notices for details.

5. Your Choices and Consent
When you first visit our website, and where the law requires, we show a cookie banner that lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies and choose categories. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the Platform cannot work without them. You can change your choices at any time using the “Manage cookies” link on our website, and you can also control cookies through your browser or device settings.
In the EU, the UK and similar regimes, non-essential cookies, including analytics and advertising cookies such as the Meta and TikTok pixels, are not set until you give consent. Our cookie banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category, with a “Reject all” option shown as prominently as “Accept all”, and we keep a record of the consent you give.
06
6. Advertising, Analytics and US State Privacy Laws
Because we use advertising technologies such as the Meta and TikTok pixels, some activity may be treated as “sale” or “sharing” of personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising under certain US state laws, such as in California. If you are a US resident, you can opt out using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control and the cookie controls on our website, as described in our Privacy Policy. We honour recognised opt-out preference signals where required.
07
7. How Long Cookies Last
Some cookies are session cookies that are deleted when you close your browser. Others are persistent cookies that remain for a set period or until you delete them. The retention period varies by cookie and by the tool that sets it. You can delete cookies at any time through your browser or device settings, though some features may not work as well if you do.
08
8. Cookies in Our Mobile Apps
Our apps use SDKs and similar technologies rather than traditional browser cookies, for the same purposes described above. You can control some of these through your device settings, including advertising identifiers and app tracking permissions, and through the in-app privacy settings where available.
09
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add or remove tools. We will post the updated Policy with a new effective date, and where the law requires we will ask for your consent again.
